📍The upcoming is full of dramatic events that will greatly affect the audience. The most important of which is Halis Aga’s illness and its impact on the family.

📍Halis Aga, as we know, has a serious illness, so he stayed away from the palace for a while, and when he returned, he did not complete his treatment.

📍 We will see Ferit and Seyran working together to make Halis happy and convince him to complete his treatment. This incident will create a great bond between the family and create a new era in Halis’ life.

S3 is also an an exploration of “what if” Seyran, Suna and Ferit lives had reset after the first divorce. 

Seyran’s “what if” was conscious choice over family duty. In S1, she was forced into marriage with Ferit, but in S3, she willingly marries Sinan without her family’s interference. That relationship fails, and she finds herself back in Ferit’s orbit—proving that no matter the path, she is destined to return to him.

Ferit’s “what if” was choosing stability over passion. He starts S3 in a relationship with Diyar, someone who represents normalcy. He even proposes, but deep down, he knows it’s not what he truly wants. Like Seyran, he is drawn back to their shared history, reinforcing the idea that their connection is inevitable.

Suna, on the other hand, is stuck in an illusion. Her “what if” isn’t something she lived through—it’s still connected to something she wishes had happened (marriage to specifically a Korhan) , and that’s where the distortion starts. 

Unlike Suna, Seyran and Ferit’s “what if” scenarios are experienced rather than imagined. Suna does marry Abi Korhan, but the marriage becomes tumultuous once his identity is known. Suna finds her way into settling in the yali, even temporarily owning it and ultimately looses it. She also gets close to Ferit, only for him to still remain emotionally tied to Seyran. At this stage, it feels Suna’s “what if with Ferit” is and will remain an imagination – a direct contrast to #SeyFer’s “what ifs” they lived and which led them back to each other. 

Seyran and Ferit made different choices, explored alternative paths, and still found themselves coming back to each other. Their arcs suggest that fate isn’t just about circumstance but about the inescapable pull of true emotions – something Suna can’t ever have with Ferit. 

What Suna needs is accepting that she has been chasing the wrong fate. Only then can she have what SeyFer have with Abidin (remember Ferit said they’ll be a second wedding?) 

Suna isn’t the only whose “what if” hasn’t worked out. Esme & Gulgun start off in what we know are well deserved divorces, but they too are back with their respective partners- not of a great fated loved, but what feels like a necessity, for survival.
